- In May of 2008 I graduated from the University of Portland and set out on a 6 week European backpacking trip. Shortly thereafter, I used my accounting degree while working in Medford, OR. After almost a year, I knew I wasn't ready for a career quite yet, so I applied to the Peace Corps. In the year since I left my job, I have spent a lot of valuable time with my friends and family while doing a number of odd jobs. In May 2010 I am moving to Bulgaria to work as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I want to thank all of my family and friends for being so supportive of my decision. I will miss you all and will be back before you know it!
